Welcome to my World Race blog! 

I am incredibly blessed, honored, and excited to have the opportunity to be going on this crazy, wild, scary, life-changing adventure with 50 other ragamuffin Jesus-lovers! I leave in January 2012 and will be going to El Salvador, Hondruas, Nicaragua, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Nepal and India.  I will live for a month in each country and do whatever the Lord shows me that He needs me to do.

I want to invite anyone and everyone to please read my blog and comment on my posts!  Some of you may be people who are close to me that I get to talk to quite regularly, others of you I may not have talked to in a long time, and still others may be complete strangers.  If you follow my blog at all, I want to ask you to please comment somewhere on some article so that I can know who I am telling my stories to.  This may also help guide me in how and what sort of stories people would like to hear.  I would love to give "shout outs" to people that I know read my blog when I encounter another person or situation that reminds me of them.

If anyone has any questions about anything about the Race, please feel free to just write it as a comment at the bottom of the page of whichever post you are reading. I would also love people to give me advice or ideas for how to blog in a readable, entertaining way, since I haven't done any creative writing since my freshman year of college.

Regardless of who you are or how often you come here, I want to thank you for showing any interest at all in this amazing trip God has blessed me with!
